her surgery was supposed to start a bit ago, but we got word it'll probably be an hour and a half late starting.

she can't have food or drink and had no coffee this morning.

sitting here watching her and thinking sad thoughts about that on her behalf. she looks kinda upset over the rim of my dark roast.
