The last time I used the nebulizer was Dec 2019, which had been the last time I had bronchitis. I’m struggling to remember why the hell there’s a sticker on it that says “Replace nebulizer in Jun.” Dows anyone know what this is about? Does the machine have to be replaced? I’ve had it since, about 2018, I think.
Also, what about the tubing? I would think that should be replaced but there’s nothing in the instructions, other than cleaning the mouthpiece, medicine cup & lid.
@see_the_sus Nope. Machine doesn't need to be replaced. It is a CYA thing for the medical that you got it from. YES wash the hoses - just warm soapy water, rinse well and let dry. Or replace the tubing if you wish. Ck with your doc!
I was thinking that I probably should get a referral to a pulmonologist now that I'm in a new state. The last time I had to see one was the summer of 2020 and I was living elsewhere then.
The urgent care doc last week told me to get back on my asthma meds & put in a one-month prescription.
I'm just not really keen on adding yet one more specialist to my ever-growing list. 😞 I was doing soooo very well up until last week.
@see_the_sus y good plan to have one ( a pulmonologist) and not need him or her, rather than to need one and not have one... What state are you in? (sorry if I missed that or if I'm too nosey!)

I live in NM. I've got fairly decent specialist doc's, but I am thinking of looking for a new primary. I'm just not feeling a lot of compassion nor understanding from her about all the things in my life that are stumbling blocks right now to getting me healthier. All she keeps saying is, "Watch your diet and get more exercise." Gee, no shit? Really? Well, I'll be sure to tell my body to stop having chronic pain and be mentally ill!"
