There's builders, doers, people that get things done. Often contrasted by thinkers, planers, people that imagine. But this is false. All good builders must plan and imagine. And all good thinkers must do physical things in the physical world. Mediocre builders do not imagine, and mediocre thinkers do not build. The category error that one must be either a theorist or an experimentalist, is non-optimal.
