Have no idea if that’s considered far or not.
in NM, our well was super shallow, at 30 ft. A mile north, after crossing over a little rock outcropping, some of the ranches by the road were well over 500 ft down, i heard of a couple at 1100 +

Seems consistent with the other wells in our area, so that’s likely just how it is.
