We beat them again on the way to the 87 UEFA Cup Final
In the first leg in 81 they scored 2 late goals for an aggregate lead, then claimed we were the worst team they’d ever played in Europe. We humped them 5-0 at Tannadice.
After a 0-0 draw in the 87 semi final first leg at Tannadice, they were so confident of reaching the final they issued priority vouchers to their fans in the next league game. We humped them 2-0 over there.

@mickcarty When I was a boy we used to do a weekly diary in Infants School. I still remember #Liverpool beating Borussia Munchengladbach to win the European Cup and all the boys in the class wanted to know how to spell their name so we could write about it.
The teacher replied "Just put Germany" 🤣
