for 1st time in history, elites can make the majority of human beings economically non-competitive.
half the world has IQ < 100. The average uni degree has IQ of 115, which tells you how truly non-competitive humanity is compared to what’s coming.

That's MORE reasons to do this

@danalan indeed. And that is why I say the only solution, which is also less unrealistic than the alternatives, is what I propose in the last link
Well, that’s just bleak. I don’t see how we’re all going to be serfs for the corporate overlords.
I’m all for some of the solutions outlined here, like universal basic income, debt cancellation, etc. but I don’t have any faith that in the only country in the western world which does not have universal healthcare, we can possibly achieve big these solutions.
The most difficult thing will be adding states. To solve the world's problems we'll need a unified world government. You can't bomb your way to peace.
@danalan @evamarie world bank, imf... there already are structures to manage certain transitions.
Sure, they must work with states. And for that to happen, there needs to be a critical mass of citizens everywhere that starts asking themselves the right *questions*
This is why it is crucial to circulate certain proposals systematically
@evamarie @danalan it's sure thougher in the US than elsewhere, since the US is behind most western states on stuff that matters for quality of life.
Still, the point is that the current lifestyle unquestionably sucks and is getting worse and only new thinking, BEYOND the usual left vs right drama, about the root causes can fix it
@mfioretti @evamarie
My suggestion to mint 39,000 one-billion dollar coins to pay off the US debt from a few days ago works.
I've been refining step 2 of my r/4stepplan, and it truly raises all boats.
I'm not sure how best to communicate all the solutions I suggest for the issues - but I do have solutions.
Also, at some point we might need to break out the r/HayforksandFirebrands.
@mfioretti
Holy shit. This is scary AF.
