There is a seriously fucked up no man's land between "omg I'm excited about something and I desperately want to overshare" and "okay I must seriously resist talking about things prematurely". Ugh.
Security is only as good as your weakest link though, so...stfu.

@Monty1234 They can make accounts faster than they catch them. Some of the techniques they use that I mentioned are pretty damn smart and low effort. The good thing about the mass die off is that it does take time to acquire followers. I'm seeing significantly fewer troll accounts with over 1k followers lately.
@Monty1234 I feel like I'm bashing my head against a brick wall, but that won't stop me from trying to clue as many people in as possible.
Excuse the lengthy PSA but we have a serious problem with troll accounts on Twitter. I'm no expert, but these are the guidelines I generally follow.

@PillbroBaggins I assume probably not, since there's no way to tell who is using the service, and by design VPNs are pretty secretive. I'm no expert on the subject so I may be wrong, but it tends to be a black and white scenario. You ban known VPN addresses or you allow them.
Problem is, what helps keep crooks safe is the same thing that keeps regular people safe.
Got this message on CoSo just now - I use basic-ass PIA on this machine. So my question is what's the best way to access CoSo in the era of no internet privacy protections, short of disconnecting my VPN every time I want to visit? Cuz I always use try to use VPN on Comcast connections. @th3j35t3r ?

@USAPatriot Doubtful. I only follow like 35 people on Facebook, so I'm pretty aware of who they in turn follow and what they comment on. Several are conservatives, but none of *that* type.

Can someone tell me why the fuck Twitter is suggesting *Mitch McConnell* as someone I should follow? I follow intelligent humans, not beady-eyed amphibians that stuff their neckpouches with taxpayer dollars as part of their symbolic mating ritual with the Ku Klux Klan.
Between that and constantly suggesting various sports figures (I hate sports), Twitter's algorithm is made of pure fail.
