I feel like we're watching an absolute masterclass in legal pwning unfold. I LOVE how Mueller's team has slowly and methodically worked their way up, cutting off all avenues of escape, without ever saying a fucking word.

@malice trump's ego, greed, lack of impulse control, and ability to buy his way out of past trouble will be his undoing. He doesn't have the chops to do white collar crime at this level. His sloppiness and big mouth cast a wide net, catching any sophisticated crooks who stupidly let themselves come within six degrees of separation from him.

The economic consequences of the tariffs and instability. and the destroying of institutions like public education... It's killing me...
@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine Yeah the Dems and independents need to quit with the purity tests and get off their asses and vote blue before the damage done is irreversible. That's my fear, because Dems just don't vote as often as Republicans.

With Dems in the majority in the House, it wouldn't even be a food fight anymore because the GOP already fucked themselves by bringing back the nuclear option.

@malice I've always considered myself an independent. I am really disturbed with the GOP not standing up to this administrations policies that are clearly at odds with what makes our citizens safer and is in their best interest. I can't wrap my mind around it. It just looks like greed to me.
@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine I used to be a Republican a long time ago. But I was also a total edgelord that thought everybody could go f themselves, basically. When I grew up I became an independent. Plus, the right is just too Jesusey (I'm an atheist) and too traditional (I'm a feminist). So, yeah.
Still lean conservative in some way but these days conservative =/= Republican.

@malice indeed. Trump is at the top of a ladder and Mueller is pulling out rungs strategically. Trump’s method for reaching the top will no longer be there to help him back to safety.
Everyone talks about pardons, but I can't imagine that Mueller hasn't thoroughly thought that one through a long time ago and has a plan for that. State charges, perhaps...
can only pardon federal crimes. And those seem to be in the works in NYC already.
