@MikeBrendan when i see discussion of martial arts I think of the Tai Kwan Leep sketch by "The Frantics", and how it shows how some people can be SO impatient when learning. it's funny, but it's also kinda deep. Give it a listen some time.

@PatriciaLee oh i hear that. I've scrolled past the "Wall Of Text" a few times. I'm sure others do too. but i think it's because we've gotten so used to short-form communication that we don't really have the attention span to WANT to read more. and I blame that more on social media than on those who use it

Back in the day, when blogging was a big deal, people would write whatever came to mind in a lovely, long-format way. No character limits, just prose. I feel like force-shortening people's ideas has been such a detriment to human expression. We need more words, not less.
