Wih all due respect, don't come to me with citation from your religion regarding women rights to abortion, I respect all the religions, but first for me common sense and empathy. Don't forget that all religious books were written by people, based on thoughts and vision of another human being who was a good orator. your faith should teach you to be kind and understanding, not blind and stupid.

I came skidding in sideways to this CoSo site several days ago.

I came from that bird site, and when my skid came to a stop, here, I discovered that I was in a softer, gentler place. Kind of like skidding off a busy street and coming to a stop in a beautiful garden.

I signed up here with my same handle as I have on twitter (@crystal_resists) but I would like to change to something less political.

Does anyone know if I can change my handle here, keeping my account?

New Nauts, let me 'splain a little.

CoSo has folks of all stripes. We don't always agree.

We do have an occasionally spoken, but usually unspoken agreement that when we disagree with someone, we keep some things in mind.

My understanding and implementation of it is:

Be civil.
Be honest.
Be trustworthy.
Be empathetic.
Be true to yourself.
Pick your battles.
Remember others are watching and listening.

If someone specific gets your goat constantly, block/mute them, don't lash out.
