Ok, I'm back for good.
The Twitter ship has sailed...
Looking forward to some positive, productive, entertaining engagement here and planning to devote more time to this platform...provided I clear my next hurdle, a potentially life altering medical procedure.
It won't be my first rodeo, but still not looking forward to it. Wish me luck!
Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful day/evening and looking forward to some great interaction in the future!
Be good to each other! π
We're so happy to see our daughter graduating Jinan University in China with honors. We can't wait until she arrives here in a few months to pursue her Masters in Electrical Engineering - Circuits / Systems from UC San Diego.

'The Largest Eagle in the World'
In spite of their naive-looking faces, Great Harpy Eagles are some of the most powerful and conniving hunters on Earth. They live at the top of the remote tropical forests in Central and South America and mostly eat sloths and monkeys. They donβt have many predators but they do have to watch out for jaguars - one of the few animals thatβs happy to tangle with these large birds.
A couple photos from my past...
I was working @ JSC when the Challenger blew up. I was the (then) Video Tech for George S. W. Abbey, the Director of NASA, in Houston. I was in the lobby of BLDG. 1 when the news hit the monitor. You could have heard a pin drop!
It was surreal...
This was the response from the global public:
Possibly, one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I've ever been.
This is a Zen Buddhist Temple in the middle of nowhere in Southern China - Master Ru Yong Temple.
I was badly injured a week earlier, but didn't cancel the trip because I wanted my friends to enjoy themselves.
I didn't feel any pain. The Monk was so nice, he invited us to drink tea with him for half the day, then had his caretaker cook us dinner. We sat outside & ate while watching fireflies.
An incredible memory... π§
