well, today was not how I planned it. Threw up and passed out from intense abdominal pain, couldnt get off the floor, ended up in ambulance and spent the day in hospital getting jabbed and poked before being doped up and told to head home. They think its some kind of tummy virus so if its not getting better or gets worse we go back up in the next few days. Still hurts even with oxy and methoxyflurane puffer. Dammit body, we're supposed to be friends! ๐ญ โค๏ธ
@lilyunsub Oh, no! Do you have somebody to be with your or check in? This sounds miserable! They ruled out the usual, right? Hoping you feel better REALLY soon!
@BlueStateBabe they have, dad has been with us all day. Hoping it starts getting better over the next day or so and just comes right on its own and isnt something worse โค๏ธ

I had food poisoning once that was beyond the pale.Stomach hurt HORRIBLY the night before - almost like being in labor! First bathroom visit in the morning, and I discover I'm hemorrhaging. I was able to drive to the hospital about 7 miles away and walk into the ER. They don't mess around when you say hemorrhaging.
Got an MRI & dx'd food poisoning, without testing further. Luckily, it DID go away in another few days. No meds.

@lilyunsub It did drive home the fact that I live alone and family is gone, which creates a vulnerability. This is why I always ask if somebody has help within reach. Glad that you did!
