"Cybersecurity people had an opportunity years ago, when Musk took over, to help organisations move away from socials. To help people look for truth in the way they used to use a book or speak to an expert. Instead, people kept posting there, often spreading mis and disinformation themselves, instead of showing they had discernment and could evaluate sources."

Tomorrow, I'm presenting with Samantha Low Choy at the Matters organised by the Griffith Institute for Educational .

Our topic is Eliciting Conceptual Models to Link & Statistical on Autonomous Vehicle Views

My beloved just ticked over to 19 Million users!

There were 10M users a month ago. Numbers have been growing exponentially this year, esp since Twitter/X's ban in Brazil (September), and particularly with the mass exodus after the US .

I was one of the first 1% of users when I joined in May last year, and I am thrilled to see such a positive online space take off.

"Years of algorithmically-pushed has turned us into junkies. When there is nothing to be outraged about, we search for it... This is why people will self-immolate over a poorly worded tweet, even as climate change threatens the lives of millions of people. And so we all live on the edge, ready to be furious." - Jamie Bartlett
