Website update: commissions page updated. No, the commissions queue hasn't been reopened yet, but I have added some new information that might be of interest to anyone who might want to commission me once I'm well enough to be able to write music again.

You guys -- regarding the root canal I mentioned:
You guys: 1st, thank you for your thoughts.
2nd: I had root canals decades ago. The change in technique and technology is incredible.
I hate dental work. I do typically experience a lot of pain.
Today: NOTHING. Absolutely no discomfort. Not even from the injections.

Interesting idea. They're expecting the cheddar, but I want them to try the other stuff as well. If I hold off on the cheddar, like you said, they'll have to try the others first. Thanks!

Just did some prep for a Superb Owl party tomorrow. On the cutting board: cheeses. One was a merlot-infused something, another was a smoked gouda with bacon, and the last was a Havarti. Got 'em cubed and containered, ready to transport.

Still not prepped: a 7-year-old Quebec white cheddar. I'm debating on whether I should prep it here or do the fancy cutting at the party. Thoughts, CoSo?

Urgh. My health is doing a little bit better as far as my swollen legs go, but now I've got doctors telling me I look "pale."

I saw my primary care physician yesterday and got the same "pale" treatment from him. I asked him what was up with that. He said it's probably due to the one underlying condition that hasn't been treated during all of this mess: my chronic anemia.

I've got a hematologist appointment this week to find out what my next step will be.
