Going for my wife's varietal in the Keurig machine today: Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. Blah. I like my Drago blend and my Dark Mexican varietal better. They have more oomph.

And less gas.

There's just something wrong with drinking coffee at this hour on a chilly Sunday morning in late March. Got to be tea instead. Yun Nan Black Tea (variety I can't remember) via Teavivre. Hits the spot, makes watching Aussie Rules Football replays more fun.

Keurig Dark Mexican cup in hand, go I forth like a wild ass unto the internet desert ...

Drinking the next-to-last cup of my Beijing back-alley fruit tea. Not sure how much caffeine it has in it, so we'll pretend. Two tbsp. in 8oz. 212° water for 10 minutes, plus a few rock sugar crystals from Adagio makes for a mighty fine brew at this hour of the night. Plus, you can eat the reconstituted fruits once you're done!

Had Orange Vanilla Coca-Cola Zero Sugar today. It qualifies for the due to the final ingredient on its list. It doesn't really qualify as orange vanilla, unfortunately - the much-vaunted taste is sadly underwhelming.

Went the "coffee for breakfast" route this morning - Dark Mexican varietal from the Keurig with a few packs of Equal and a scoop of CoffeeMate. Sorry, can't drink it unadulterated.😭

Ah. Masala chai.

Just the thing to relax oneself after a long day of novel editing.

No hesitation this morning - went straight for the Dark Mexican varietal from the Keurig machine. Pulled a cup and am now infusing it into my system by the most practical means available.

@uasal IV line search abandoned. Simple cup infusion started. No cheating intended.

A cup of Dark Mexican has been extracted from the Keurig machine. Now searching for my IV line.

Crowberry tea for breakfast, along with buttered toast and Newfoundland cloudberry spread (seedless, thank the maker). Wonderful Canadian berry medley to start the day, with the bonus of caffeine!

Had a rude awakening this morning. I poured the hot water into my IngenuiTEA teapot (adagio.com/teaware/ingenuiTEA_), and the water came running out the bottom and onto the floor! First time that's ever happened. It's an old teapot - bought ages ago through ThinkGeek. Need to replace ASAP. Thank goodness I've got a backup.

Afternoon tea with a new addition to the pantry - "Award Winning" Yun Nan Dian Hong Black Tea - Golden Tip. As usual, from Teavivre (teavivre.com/yunnan-golden-bla). Warm and relaxing, with just enough of a kick to get you through the afternoon doldrums. Recommended.

Having a cuppa sweetened crowberry-flavored tea this morning ( darktickle.com/30-crowberry-te ), and the results are *much* better than the unsweetened version from last night. Also put in an ice cube so I could savor the crowberry flavor before it all evaporated away. Experiment successful - very, very nice cup of a unique berry-flavored tea!

Savoring a cup of Canadian crowberry tea, a mixture of crowberries and Ceylon tea. The aroma is almost erotic from ten feet away. Needs to cool down some before the taste can reach the same level of eroticism.

Having a change of pace this morning - some Guangxi Liu Bao Cha Dark Tea instead of the Beijing back-alley tea. Gotta use up my supply before the new stuff comes in.

Made a major restock on the tea in the house from Teavivre:

- Nonpareil Yunnan Dian Hong Ancient Wild Tree Black Tea
- Genmaicha Green Tea Bags
- Organic Red Snail Black Tea
- Yun Nan Dian Hong Black Tea - Golden Tip
- Peach Jasmine Dragon Pearl Green Tea (free sample)
- Organic Gunpowder Green Tea (Zhu Cha) (free sample)

About $55 worth of some very good tea. My wife is probably going to shoot me, but I'm going through the Beijing back-alley tea like there's no tomorrow.

Buttermilk down the hatch - on to the caffeine. Drago espresso blend from Fresh Roasted Coffee, with a teaspoon of Eagle Brand milk for that extra kick in the ass I need at this hour of the morning.

Starting the morning with a large glass of Bulgarian buttermilk. Need nutrition first - will progress to caffeine once the brain is fed.
