I finally have an appointment for an echocardiogram, tomorrow afternoon with a doctor in Rockwall, TX. Here's hoping that everything stays together until then.
I don't know if I want him to find a diagnosis of congestive heart failure or not. A positive diagnosis would at least let me know what I'm fighting against, but it'd mean a lot more restrictions on my life. A negative diagnosis would be better in lots of ways, but it would still leave me wondering what's going on.

I understand what you are saying. My mom has had various issues in the last year or two and they just can't figure out what is wrong with her. They even said Lung Cancer at one point, and while we were shocked (she never smoked) at least we had a diagnosis. Then they said, no, that's not it. So, back to square one. Hang in there, either way!
