At some point, it was "what's Google?" in an Altavista or Ask Jeeves search.

Then, seemingly overnight, it became *the best* search engine.

But...it also was saving every third search.

Seemed innocent enough.

Then they started mapping... everything. They mapped the roads. They mapped the skies. They mapped our wifis (and even sued themselves over it!)

Now, Google plans for billions more spent in more data centers, and it makes me wonder/dread...what are they planning to map next? Us?

I don't know what bothers me most...the fact that they made "pickled ketchup", despite the fact that ketchup is already pickled, or the fact that they called it pickled ketchup and all they added was cucumber juice?

Nobody is saying the Republican party is a bunch of Nazis....what we are saying is the Republican party allows for a safe haven for closeted, stealth Nazis to gain political power roughly in alignment with their own beliefs, while gaslighting people to align with them.

Can someone explain to me what this exactly is with the "V" on the beginning and a large number string that doesn't at all match the number in the info? Gotten two of these in the last 24 hours. I know it's likely scammers, but I'm curious how it's giving me two different numbers. Is the V number string the ID name?

Trump's pushing for crypto feels like he has had his team create -or otherwise acquire- a blockchain that may or may not be on the markets yet. I'm guessing he is hoping to create MAGAbucks or Trump Dollars. If so, I hope everyone does their duty to call them Trump Loonies. That said, expect for him to pump and dump any cryptos he promotes in the future, especially if he regains the presidency.

Just an FYI, those tariffs turnup is mentioning, those WILL create massive inflation, just like his previous round of tariffs did. He has no idea what he's doing. He's fixated on killing programs without fixing them because then it creates a false surplus. That's what he wants to do with Obamacare. He will throw the entire system into disarray and kill thousands, if not millions of Americans seeking medical care while he blames democrats for the failure.

Corusca, born May the 4th (Star Wars Day) 2014. I gave her a Star Wars name. Corusca gems are what the lightsaber crystals were originally called before Disney.

She came into my life when I needed a friend. She's been there for me through my worst moments. She's always been the most amazing cat.

Today I woke up to her in pain and paralyzed with a blood clot. Rushed her to the emergency vet. Putting her down in a few minutes when they let me see her.

I don't know what to do next

@Heavymetalmotherindisguise they gave her tramadol, which just gives her the shakes and doesn't really numb the pain. It's considered a lower risk for addiction, so it's the go-to for doctors to treat for this.

We are trying, she's calling the doctor every day when I'm at work, but it's hard to find any help here

@Zevon I'm not sure if we have those here. Medical anything on Vancouver Island is really hard to get without massive waiting lines. The surgery happened short notice as she took a cancellation spot from FOMO and we had nothing prepared. They prescribed her tramadol and told her to watch for a fever. It's been like flying blind this past week.

I'm doing what I can, but I work full time closing shifts & I'm the only one she can rely on. It breaks my heart to see her in so much pain knowing I can't afford the fancy ramp cushions or at-home pulley devices that would be extremely helpful. Any ideas would help! If I don't reply, it's because I don't know how to get notifications on the Android app. But I do check back when I can to read!
