Went to a visitation for an acquaintance that was a much closer friend to my wife. He was a kind person who touched many a peoples lives as a positive force.
There were people in renaissance fair garb, onesies, Touch Consent stickers, Pronoun stickers, and literally more people than could fit in the funeral home.
They also had a table with his dice, letting people take one die in memory.
It was sad, but also just kinda awe inspiring to see this outpouring of love for such a kind and awesome guy

@ChrisAgne I do not attend, but the church my parents were married in and where I was baptized is now a Mennonite church (was Advent Lutheran, south city) and the church I grew up in and where my brother was married in is gone - the congregation moved a little south and the building was torn down and is now a QT. (Holy Trinity, Reavis & Union)
I didn't know they had moved and almost had a heart attack when I drove by and the BUILDING WAS GONE. They had a huge pipe organ!! I was devastated.
@sentientdessert I believe most of those were after I watched DW & RD - I think we had Benny Hill on after RD, and then that was the end of the broadcast day (!!)
It was right at the start of RD's run, so late 80's. I liked Star Cops from back then as well. :D That was a short one, tho, 8 or 9 eps.
Went for a long drive/short road trip with my new car...it crossed the 1K mark on the way back, and the average mpg in the 180 mile loop that I drove was about 39. Which is a little less than double what I got in my G6 (avg 22 mpg).
It was a nice drive.

As a general rule of democracy: If one candidate's attorneys routinely end up disbarred, destitute and facing fines in the millions of dollars, convicted felons, and/or forced to issue a written apology to America for criminal actions performed on behalf of said candidate, vote for the other guy.

@sentientdessert For STL, Sunday night after 10:30 was Dr Who and Red Dwarf on PBS. For years and years.
