@EnochianEntropy You got over the hump, I think. I had a really hard time getting thru Winter's Heart.
Happy reading!
@kismatt Winter’s Heart was SO LONG. The ending really paid the whole thing off, but geez.
I’m amazed at the timing of everything - because when I was reading it the first time though, I was reading it MOSTLY in real time with the releases (I think I started maybe when book 4 or 5 came out), so it stretched out my understanding of the time of the series, thinking it was 4 or 5 years, instead of…
@kismatt a year and a half for the whole thing, where two or three books contain a few weeks, if not a couple of days, of time.
@EnochianEntropy The weird thing is - my copy of Winter's Heart is autographed. I got to meet him on the book tour.
Hardest one to get thru, and it's the first one I bought in hardcover.
I'd picked the series up in 1995 in paperback and since then whenever I came across a used copy, I'd buy it to give it to someone to get them into the series. lol
@EnochianEntropy To tell you the truth, I don't remember. I only remember that the place was *packed* and he signed books for way over an hour.
That was in 2001, and I don't think it was public knowledge that he had a health issue.
