We need to start framing the discussion from the viewpoint of 'Isn't it amazing how many great services we get for very little investment?' Schools, roads, Police, Justice System, Fire Departments, Emergency Services... By pooling our money with taxes, we invest in Societal Services no average person could afford by their lonesome. We need to add healthcare. (And stop Privatization of things like Prisons, which has the opposite of the intended effect.)

@killingfloorman yeah, I'd never tire of telling anyone how evil she was, and how she is responsible for a lot of the shite that goes on today.

(Side story, I can remember my teachers cheering when she resigned. I carried the note to every class, from my headmistress 😂)

Prayers please CoSo Family: My brother needs lots of strengthening, calming and loving thoughts sent his way. He is a shut-in with mental and physical issues. His house was hit directly by the hurricane in GA. No water & no power. His 1 friend who looks out for him is trapped by downed trees & power lines. We can’t keep a phone connection long enough to get full details, but: he’s not injured, there are trees down on his house but not through the roof and his phone is working for now. 1/2
