A handy guide to bollocks you may encounter in the UK 🤣

@killingfloorman

CoSo is so educational. I always thought “bullocks” translated to “balls” 😂

@evamarie @killingfloorman
Well, bollocks does, doesn't it? A bullock is just a male calf. I thought bollocks was balls.

Bollocks. I don't know. 😂

🙃 Wikipedia says:

Bollocks (/ˈbɒləks/) is a word of Middle English origin meaning "testicles". The word is often used in British English and Irish English in a multitude of negative ways; it most commonly appears as a noun meaning "rubbish" or "nonsense", an expletive following a minor accident or misfortune, or an adjective to describe something that is of poor quality or useless. “

@killingfloorman
That's funny, because "Bollocks to it" in British and "Balls to the wall" in American mean pretty much opposite things. 🤔 I shall ignore it vs. I shall give it all I've got. 😂

Oddly works for any gender, too.
