My list of famous people I've actually met is rather limited. One. I met Jimmy Connors of tennis fame at a family Christmas gathering in 1975 when I was 9. My cousin had gone to high school with Connors and was a friend. I met a U.S. Senator once. Meh. Paul Simon. He wore bow ties and shared a name with a much more famous person.
