Dinner tonight: Dry rub chicken drumsticks and potatoes all went on the Weber kettle with vortex used. Lump charcoal and pecan wood.

I didn't feel like making a new rub so I just used my standard rib rub. It seems to work equally well on chicken.

@voltronic My wife can’t do spicy anymore, so I often make two versions of dishes (I’m still a pepper head). For tonight’s wings, made her a soy, oil, honey, garlic and ginger marinade and reduced some for a post cook glaze. The standard Franks with more spices for me. Pics once I get them off the grill!

That sounds excellent. If you like Middle Eastern flavors, I can also highly recommend zatar wings. Toss them with that seasoning mix and a little melted butter. Savory goodness; zero heat.

@voltronic Ooo, thanks. We like middle eastern flavors here. I used to make harissa and yogurt wing sauce, but those are too spicy now.

@kay_dub
That sounds delicious too. I like to drizzle harissa oil on white pizza.
