And, the problem may include many parts; many problems, both big and small.

And, any component-problem may have smaller problems to debate or discuss.

Why do some killers target schools?

Hypothesis:
They didn't have a particularly happy or supportive time while in school.

Solution:
Assess how people that are at-risk while in elementary school are supported. Mitigate the negative impacts they experience. Take ownership of their actions years hence by continuing to monitor and support them.

No, this doesn't solve every scenario. But, this is one scenario that can be called out and targeted with solutions.

My coding skills are slowly progressing. I got the underlying data to pop up when the circles are clicked. Red-filled circles are increasing, green is decreasing.
The thicker the outline the higher the percentage of the population that has had the virus since this pandemic started. The highest is 41% in a neighborhood in Bayshore.

Clearly, I'll never get good at javascript.

If all of the news orgs installed a counter on their chirons - the lower bar on the screen - that showed the number of deaths by guns in the prior 100 days, we would become a little less desensitized between mass casualty events like Texas.

I guess we're going to restart the cycle of :
1. Outrage
2. Blame
3. Despondency
4. Resignation
5. Disgust
6. Forget
7. Repeat

IMHO, more than half of America is emotionally stunted and has no empathy.

They will never be part of the solution because they cannot comprehend that there is a problem.

That's the problem that needs to be fixed before sensible gun regulation is implemented.
