OMG! Martin Short is interviewing Bill Maher in Jimminy Glick costume. Super hilarious!

Just finished designing the user-experience for one section of my app.
Took the entire week.
Now I need to design the user interface.
But first, a martini. 🍸

I advocated for the patient-residents of Laguna Honda Hospital so that they would not be transferred while the hospital was being recertified. 12 died. My mother in law was a resident there. I lead the charge to stop the transfer. Yesterday the hospital was fully recertified. Did public comments at city hall and promoted a petition that got 2k signatures.

I'm a management consultant. I re-engineer procedures for mid to large size companies. Lately it has been in healthcare.

Product idea to assist the war effort: Drone-deployed wireless routers/repeaters to facilitate remote piloting of battle-drones.

If a flexible communication network can be established and physically reconfigured in the conflict areas, the quantity of drone operators can be greatly increased by keeping them far from the front lines.

Drone deployment would be done in-mass. Recharging would have to be automated at battery switching stations that are also drone-deployed.

We are merely patterns passing through society and the world.

Like a wave, we change them for a short while.

But it does change the world.

Be a good pattern when you are changing the world.

Time to promote the display of principles governing the morality of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

And Satan.

Arms crack? On the print? No.
On the printer? No.
I was having a heat-dissipation issue because I messed around with the hotend assembly. Heat was working backwards and softening the filament. I've got a delta printer that uses boudin tubes and the driver is mounted off the hotend. So, it is sensitive to expanding filament.

And, yes, it does support ironing. But, I leveraged the shiny effects of the glass print surface to get that effect.

I learned my lesson recently when I got to the end of the project and realized I was supposed to capture a variable at the beginning.

6 weeks later I finally finished.

Now, everything is mapped out to the nth-degree. Then I start coding.

It also helps when the AI is doing most of the coding and needs to be told, precisely, what to do. A lot less bug fixing.

After 6 months of issues with the 3D printer I finally got the car charger/phone holder printed today.
Ya, I should just buy one. I know...I know.

@Animeraider
Wow. Big news for San Francisco.
I always thought about him as I walked past his statue and wondered what he thought of seeing it all these years.

I just added up the procedures I need to design for an app I'm developing. I thought I was almost done. Been working on it all day.
Nope.
I mapped out all of the steps.
I've done 2.
I need to do 15.
I guess this is why nobody's done this before.

Mass walkout protest at Stanford's graduation ceremony today.

Just broke a wine glass.
I'm so pissed.
Wedding gift.
Really expensive.

Phew!
Round one has been completed on the User Interface (UI) design for the app. 12 pages of wireframes.

I have 4 more user types to design pages for. Probably another 8 pages.

Then I have to switch from the system being a private one to a public one and then design that.

2 weeks of work so far.
I'm already exhausted.

I think I'll be done by July if I stay focused.

"a miss-routed drill...this was a drill" "Sure took them a long time to make this statement"

Our San Francisco mayors are having a debate tonight.
It is streaming live, too.

And they want you to pay either way!

Really? Pay to see my candidates debate?
I guess we'll be seeing a pole tax before long.

You are always in control.

I woke up from a dream where my client cancelled our contract. And, it's probably going to happen due to budget issues.

Uncomfortable though it is for me, I spent the day contacting everyone I knew that might have consulting work for me.

I've got a number of hot leads.
1 day of work.

You are always in control.
But it's not always comfortable to choose to get back into control.

I've got GitHub Copilot hooked up to mine. I'm a newbie, but the productivity is still astounding to me.

Looks like most people wouldn't find it useful to understand how their jobs or careers will be impacted by AI. Only 1 out of 11 people voting would use it. Still, 9% of the total market of working people is substantial.
