My mother in law has died today.
We expected it.
She fought to stay alive to the last minute.
This gives me a question regarding what is living...what is life.
We said goodbye to her last night.
Nobody would want to be in that condition.
We're born.
We live.
We die.
Live well.
Then die quickly or gracefully.
Don't stretch it out.

@jurban Yes, it is hard. Quite a shock to the psyche even if it’s expected. Hope you can practice good self care.
@jurban my mom died in a car wreck 11 years ago when she was 69 and I was 41. It was quick but it was not her time. I would've like another 20 years, 10 years, 5 years, 1 year, 1 month, an extra day. I would've liked for her to meet my first child. I would have liked for her to finish all the book series and tv series she never will. Then again, maybe if she'd survived, she'd have been in a world of pain, waiting for us to end her suffering.
