Trump wants his sentencing to be delayed until after the election. Well of course he does! And guess what? The request will likely be granted.

@johnldeboer We have multiple justice systems here in America. One for Trump, one for the wealthy, and one for the rest of us.
@johnldeboer I wouldn't be too sure. Trump's arguments don't have legal merit. Therefore, Judge Merchan hasn't changed the date despite many attempts by Trump to do so. His delay, delay, delay tactic is no longer working.

@johnldeboer I expect the judge to issue Donald Trump's prison sentence on the specified date. I don't expect Donald Trump to go to prison on that day. I think it will be deferred until after the election.

@johnldeboer Slowly but surely he is being marched to prison by some of our ethical judges. We're just not there yet. He will be kicking and screaming all the way.
@danielbsmith The slowly part is obvious. The surely part is questionable. I’ll believe it when it happens. One thing I’d put money on: Trump won’t be going to prison.
