@kel I don’t get your analogy. Garland’s inaction is a boon to the fascists. And, yes, I’m criticizing him for his delayed response. You wouldn’t see a Republican administration holding back. Bill Barr went out of his way to appease Trump, even traveling with the Special Prosecutor, Durham, to Italy in search of evidence of a fraudulent election.
@kel I AM focusing on the criminals. That’s why I’m appalled Garland only focused on the foot soldiers of the insurrection rather than the plotters of same. All the key witnesses of Jan. 6 had not yet been interviewed by DOJ when the Committee found them.
@johnldeboer You aren't hearing me, and with respect? No. You aren't focusing on the criminals.
You're parroting GOP criticism of Biden's DOJ, and full-circle: that's an in-kind gift to the fascists.
@kel So, with respect, you’re saying that Republican criticism of Garland for not going after Hunter Biden and for charging Trump with classified documents violations is the same as my critique of Garland for his overly delayed action in looking at the insurrection plotters? Hunter Biden’s “crimes” surpasses Trump’s, Eastman’s, and Giuliano’s coup attempt? And Trump’s documents case is a paperwork error? You’re entitled to that opinion, but I can’t agree. I think we’re done here.
@johnldeboer You're casting aspersions on Biden's Justice Department, just like Republicans.
That makes no sense to me.
Maybe try focusing on the criminals and their cohorts, rather than bashing those who are working to bring them to justice.
