Does anyone (maybe @ecksmc ?) have a strong recommendation for a privacy-friendly calendar app on ?

I've been daily-driving GrapheneOS for a couple of months without a system calendar app (just using the calendar feature of the Fastmail app), but would kind of like to use a standalone app for that instead (probably with DAVx⁵ or similar to sync with Fastmail).

@john_b
I _just_ disconnected my android phone from my google accounts, and am using DAVx5 to sync my nextcloud calendar entries with the regular calendar app that ships with the phone, just pointed to the Davx bridge instead of google.

@AskTheDevil @ecksmc Yeah... unfortunately GrapheneOS doesn't include a stock Calendar app.

I did get Fossify Calendar linked up with DAVx5 for syncing my Fastmail calendar though and it's working brilliantly.

@john_b @ecksmc Beat me to it! I just installed Fossify calendar. Disabled the default calendar app about a minute later. Much cleaner interface, and it took me only seconds to set up with DavX5.

@john_b @ecksmc And now I'm trying out the other Fossify apps - contact, sms, etc.

If anyone with an Android phone doesn't have F-droid marketplace installed, I recommend it. All open-source android stuff.

Some apps that cost $ on the Google Play store are free on F-Droid, too.

@AskTheDevil @ecksmc Yeah the whole Fossify "suite" looks really nice.
