Our roads were covered with textured ice yesterday, just the frozen rain that fell all throughout Monday. Then the sun came out, melted the textured ice, and let it refreeze into glossy smoothness. Walking on my driveway would instantly render me prone.
The good news is it's supposed to rain tomorrow so that will just wash the ice away.
