It's not my prettiest print, but hopefully printing on its back instead of standing up will prevent it from separating at the bottom after a few months like the last one.
@0x56 This was my first go with a new filament (Sunlu PETG) and I didn't bother to do any calibration. I think I had the temp too high... But on the upside that should promote stronger layer adhesion.
There are definitely a lot of variables to wrestle with though. It keeps things interesting while at the same time making for a frequently-frustrating hobby!
@john_b Yea, that should be stronger as the layers are perpendicular to where all the weight is (I'm assuming it's basically pushing on the bottom of the holder).
@john_b - I'm still trying to get mine dialed in... I'm not sure if its because I got cheap filament or if it's because I don't completely understand the variables yet (both accounts are true, but not sure which one is a bigger factor)
