I used to read the Washington Post obsessively, it was my home town newspaper. I was proud that it coverd the Watergate scandal, & the messy conclusion to the even messier Vietnam War. They had a great editorial section.
No longer. In this age of Trump & gaslighting, WaPo stands for nothing & is a complete waste of time. I'd rather read the City Paper, but I rarely get out there.

I see no mention in this repoort of what both Trump & Vance were both up to on their phones that would make them both vulnerable to Chinese Hackers. Either they're missing something important or they've purposely left it out of the report because it is too embarrassing. The important question here is: what were Trump & Vance sharing on their phones?

If nothing else, we can be sure of one thing: Elon Musk will never be involved in the trip to Mars (except in his own tiny little fantasies).
I know, it does nothing to help out situation here at home, but the more this country can untangle its economy from monsters like Trump & Musk, the better. It's already taken more than 20 years for us to resolve the wars started by Dubya (Dubya might've prevented 9/11 if he had only heeded security warnings from the previous administration).

Such a strange coincidence that the integrity & security of the USA has gone completely to shit just as I am well into my senior years, parents & some of my siblings passed on. I may not have been able to contribute much but at least I can leave this world knowing I voted blue in each election.

Amazing how some people have trouble understanding a simple term like "gaslight" (what? you didn't know that our pre-Edison city streets were once lit by gaslights - lights lit by the same natural gas that powers our water heaters)

Y'know what makes my stomach hurt? That we are required to vote against a creep like , who is the real life equivalent of a bad TV villain. Good news: we have an excellent alternative - Harris. Bad news: Trump is pulling the same character assassination against Harris that he ran against Clinton, & his red state minions seem to be immune to high-level issues like facts or reality.
But I don't care. I've done my part, voted for Harris & every other Dem on the ballot, received & counted.
