@jjGravitas I doubt a cold power source is possible or practical. Even photosynthesis generates heat. LOL But I'm not an engineer.

I know. Cold power is a fantasy of mine. Never heard any instances of it being possible. But hey, they've fixed problems before, like:
The hot incandescent light bulb (now we have LEDs),
We've found microorganisms that eat plastic, & are developing biodegradable substitutes for plastic,
The electric car is a viable substitute for the gas powered car, our biggest hangup is in building a national infrastructure for charging them that is as convenient as gas stations ... etc.
