@jeffdavenport

so much fun…tune a full octave down and move some air!

@northernbassist Yeah? I’ve never played a bass VI and I wondered the best tuning options.

@jeffdavenport

i really like the full octave down tuning on my Barracuda. These LaBella strings have a meaty low e that stays tight.

they’re a ton of fun. enjoy exploring.

@jeffdavenport

and try all your pedals with it, too…i dig a medium level, slow sweeping chorus sound with mine. fuzz is fun, too.

@northernbassist What amp do you use for it? Just a regular bass amp?

@jeffdavenport

for home i plug it into a Spark 40 modeling amp. i've got Ashdown/SWR if i need to get loud

@northernbassist I've got a spark, but I've never tried it with bass. I'll have to check it out.

@northernbassist I'm embarrassed to say that I haven't used the Spark very much. I got a Blackstar HT Club 40 and I wear that thing out. It will be cool to try the bass vi on the Spark.

@jeffdavenport Fender Squiers are surprisingly good. Enjoy!
