Knocked something off my bucket list this weekend. I grew up a Broncos fan in the Elway days. I never got to see them live. I got to see them spank the Raiders yesterday!
My first pies of fall! It is officially fall y'all! My house smells like it, therefore it is true
September starts apple season. Every year I put up pie filling and apple butter from my grandma's family recipe. I do this because I miss her. I do this to honor her. Grief never goes away, it just becomes further away. Love you grandma.
I would not own dogs if I hadn't been coerced. They are livestock to me, not pets. I have them now, so they get the best life I can give them. Sometimes I get a little something in return.
And then there was one! Two kids moved out in a week. One more to go. I love that they are this close.
I can't deal with it both being Monday AND seeing the Annoying Orange all day on the firehose. So... 🥔

This is a poppy native to New Mexico. It is an ephemeral which means the blooms are short lived. I let these spring wild all over. They are great food in early spring for all kinds of pollinators. This is the last of them for this year.
