I'm supposed to be writing. I'm supposed to be editing. Can't concentrate on a darned thing! Why is it whenever I have actual hours to get my writing done, I can't get my writing done?

@ianthealy I hate it! It drives me nuts! When I have no time, I'm itching to write and tossing in a hundred words here and there in where I can. When I have all day to write?? Nope. Let's wander around google maps and pretend its research. UGH!
@Melaradark Sometimes when I'm in that state, I'll just start writing on my phone in an email. It engages a different part of my brain at first and basically I trick myself into creating. Over my career, I've probably written 5-6 books' worth of fiction with my thumbs on a phone keyboard.
@ianthealy That's not a bad idea :) I'll have to give that a try next time.
