The reason for DPRK soldiers fighting for Russia in Ukraine are now becoming more clear. Russia (Putin) is looking to expand the war because he's losing. His allies are preparing a reason to escalate. And now he has his American puppet to let it happen.
I should probably flesh this out a bit more. It may take 2 or 3 extra posts but hear me out.
I said, perhaps even here on #CounterSocial many moons ago, that Putin, Kim Jong-Un, Xi with Orban and Lukeachenko to a lesser degree, have played Trump like a cheap banjo. They are using his overblown ego and narcissism to their advantage.
They already have America at war with itself and when they make their play Trump won't see it coming. China and North Korea will turn on him.
They will have him isolate America from NATO and that's when they will strike.

after all, he's got a big advantage now that vlad is impaled on his own sword, having to rely on kim, both of whose countries are weakened by war and the stupidity of their rulers.

I agree. Trump understands brute power. But his narcissism makes him blind to manipulation. And he’s got, excuse me, a hard on for Putin bc he sees Putin doing what he wants to do. Thus T admires P & wants his favor (when usually it’s T doling out his magnificence or scorn to others).Of course, Trump will turn on anyone, but it will take more & longer to turn on Putin. I’m not sure he’ll ever see it coming when Putin turns on him. Putin has T’s #, not vice versa.
i agree that he's been manipulated by his narcissism.
but he hates to have competition, his recent comments about elon hanging around not going home,

can't be making feel important, diminishes rather than builds him up.

yes, that's the realization that could turn him around.
it would be horrible but not as bad as the alternative, imo, and i know it lacks any background so far except his ability to turn on a dime and still be followed.
he'd have the military support for increased aid to Ukraine to go right into russia, NATO would be helpful, and it would make him a hero, and he'd be rid of the threats and debts, perfect.
