@holon42 Cooper's hawks are my favorite. I see them frequently in the mesquite tree in my front yard. The doves don' like them and fly away. The hawks like the doves because they are very tasty.

yes, doves and pigeons are favourites around here too. they can't take off as quickly. plus they're a good sized meal😋
