some rebels here are climbing the shepherd's hook to one of my feeders, so i'm coating it in coconut oil. it's a daily task, but it works. they slide right down.
some people use motor oil, but i don't want to poison them because they have to lick it off their feet, etc.
i'll remember that when i get mangoes.
@holon42 they LOVE mango seeds with a bit of flesh remaining.
