this morning
trial tension maybe?
something.

turn the light around.

notice.
stop.
do you have ideas?

or do ideas "have" you?

notice whole process of breathing, the inside, the whole lived body.

tension relaxes on outbreath,
energy increases on inbreath.

today's flow emerging.

"begin breathing into your belly. Keep your mind entirely on the belly as it rises with every in-breath and falls with each out-breath.

Breathe deeply, maintaining full attention on your abdomen.

Don’t think.

Stop all your ruminating, and just focus on the breathing.

If we master the ways of calming and steadying our mind, we can pass through the storms of emotion with relative ease."

@holon42

"Don't think" is not a terrific piece of advice, you can't "not think".

What you CAN do is keep your attention on your breath or your abdomen or whatever, while not getting caught up in any random thoughts that happen to arise, as they will.

Don't feed 'em, they won't stick around.

"Thoughts are not the enemy."

"Don't take your thoughts to tea."

"Let it be, let it through, let it go."
