it was partly overcast here for the eclipse, but there were moments, like at full cover, almost complete total here.
animals were more blasé than i anticipated, perhaps because it was only about 98%, not total, but i was surprised.

Animals don't seem to have the sort of sense of time that we do.
Birds and bees all behave like it's simply become night somehow during an eclipse and then just go about their business when the sun comes out again.
