@pennyphilosophy yes, that occurred to me this morning too. the chemical results of the abuse they endure produced in the bodies of food animals cannot but be transferred to the bodies of those who consume them. not to mention the chemical concoctions they consume to keep them alive. it's truly horrifying to contemplate.
the processing just destroys whatever benefits still remain in the food.
@holon42 yes, we eat very little processed food and have gone completely vegan from vegetarian in a promise to our kitty. aza made his food by hand. wont ever have to buy or cook meat again.
