@TrueBloodNet frequently, research of the kind that leads to negative results (like PhD work) is immensely useful in guiding other researchers away from paths that are unlikely to bear fruit. Unfortunately, it's not usually exciting or novel like positive results and doesn't get published in traditional journals. I feel for Sabine.

@MrGoat reminds me a little of the encampment from First Contact. I'm in!

@GeorgeVotesBlue one can dream but there are too many conditionals and the pesky existence of the 1A. The only recourse and deterrent might be the high bar of defamation (cf. Dominion, Smartmatic and Ruby Freeman).

@JV3MJD this was well known already. He was super pissed because he worked really hard to negotiate something and with a word, screwed the whole deal.

@th3j35t3r @dauphin87 there's actually still an important discussion to be had around this flowchart. In particular, what constitutes government interference. I believe this has recently been litigated regarding Facebook and Twitter "suppressing" or at least notifying the government about right wing disinformation. I think the judiciary got it right but one could easily imagine implicit threats by government to private orgs that directly influence their content decisions.

@Indefinite_Article she's going to get thrown under the bus whether he loses or wins. Blind, just like all the other sycophants. There is no positive outcome when you're in thrall to a malignant narcissist.

@wolfwoman the funny thing is that while the episode strained credulity and was thematically a bit incongruent, fans didn't really mind. They did not start thinking the show had no new ideas and in fact it received fairly high ratings for it's next SIX seasons!

@Ms420 reminds me a little of symmetrical book stacking in Ghostbusters 🤣

@nonayadambidnes nowadays, the ability to transfer money back and forth electronically is very easy and virtually unlimited.

@nonayadambidnes the key for me has been to have at least two different banks. I was with ING Direct from 1999 until they were bought by Capital One. My relationship with them has been almost entirely online. Then, we've kept a local bank for physical needs like cashing huge checks or getting cash. "Local" meaning something with multiple branches in your area or maybe the entire state or country. Wells Fargo and Bank of America have served that purpose most often. I've rarely been disappointed.

@elbutterfield I would suggest Tillis takes it up with him... they'll force him out by year's end.

@EvilBunny I don't think she's gonna last past the end of the year. He's leaning on her as a crutch and as soon he loses, he'll blame her along with others.
