@t_heislen he has plenty in common with #DerPumpkinFührer, including running away to Switzerland to avoid military service (which he eventually did exchange for a pardon). But at least he put in the work as a boy helping his dad in blacksmithing and eventually became a teacher and intellectual. He was jailed multiple times for subversion and rioting as a prominent socialist. The ends justified the means for him and he was probably just as narcissistic but unlike Trump, he suffered along the way.
@hallmarc The cyclical aspect is not the relative paths to power, it's the behavior once there. There's nothing original in Trumpty's playbook, and his sources are worth noting.
