The case made national news. Laws were changed. I remember a song written about this event. I bring this up because we want to write off the "abortion after birth" rhetoric as nonsense, but this history is instructive about the origin and why it is nonsense.

My guess is that if he's basing the accusation on fact (which is a big If by itself), Trump's memory is mixing up current events with the events of the 1980s.
