@nova she's definitely an anomaly but perhaps moreso in cultures like the US where our kids rarely get exposed to personal finance. In general I would say that kids should be shielded from speculative financial instruments until they really have a grasp of the fundamentals and the meaning of money/assets.

@hallmarc 100% agree. In this case I think she gained that grasp by being exposed to it small amounts at a time so as to minimize any danger.
