@Ch3fchr1sto which bbq sauce?
@hallmarc @Ch3fchr1sto haha, this is my question, eastern or western?
@Ch3fchr1sto @Loffreni quick: your top 3 BBQ joints in the US and what makes them great. I used to LOVE The Joint in NO but they're not as good as they were 15 years ago.
@hallmarc Buxton Hall BBQ, Asheville NC, old school sides, desserts are amazing, one of the owners is an old chef buddy and he knows how to do it right, locally sourced, Jim N Nicks, Nashville, TN, they have amazing brisket that is probably one of the best I've ever had and Charlie Vergos’ Rendezvous in Memphis, a staple for ribs.
@Ch3fchr1sto @hallmarc ohhh, will need to remember this the next time im out in the mountains
@Loffreni You will not be disappointed
@Ch3fchr1sto @Loffreni thanks for the recs! I might have to meet my brother in Nashville this fall 😋
@hallmarc @Ch3fchr1sto honestly haven’t traveled much in BBQ country. My favorite place for pulled pork was in Dillsboro NC, but they closed a few years ago. Someone else took it over and updated the place, but not quite as sold on their chopped pork. I’m not a Mac and cheese person, but they did have an amazing jalapeño Mac and cheese (with bacon) special once.
