According to FiveThirtyEight, in the coming US elections the Democrats currently have a 68% probability of holding the Senate, but the Republicans have a 70% probability of winning the House. Control of the House would effectively enable the Republicans to block legislation and engage in numerous "investigations" of the Executive branch.
