It's wicked late and I need to catch a train to dreamland - Were it not for coffee, I'd likely stay there.
Goodnight CoSo family.
I leave you with the Rolling Stones:
I have yet find what I have been seeking, but along the way I have found the occasional gem.
A Waltz In The Parallel Universe:
Wizard of Speed and Time...
It's my day off and thus far:
Walk with the furry friends through the woods (First thing always).
Made furry friends breakfast.
Made myself breakfast - Coffee, juice, cheese and red bell pepper omelet, rye toast (Furry ones always first).
Puttered around the interweb for a bit with logic puzzles, music and CoSo.
And now, I am off on a quest.
Later!
Good morning CoSo. ☕
Woke up in a funk.
Radio trying to help by playing John Williams conducting Berlin Philharmonic "Star Wars Theme" and Mancini's "Pink Panther".
Mancini with coffee did put a small smile on my face.
At least it's my Friday.
I'll get through this; I always do.
And now for my CoSo family, here's the sun peeking through the woods on my morning walk with my furry friends:
Outside of the original version (natch) this is by far and away one of the most amazing editions. Such powerful vocals here.
I imagine TFG speaking today:
"Nobody ever heard of Presidents Day until I got in office. People came up to me, big burly guys straight out of central casting, with tears in their eyes, and they'd say, 'Sir, we never knew we had a day to honor you'. They wanted to call it 'Trump Day, after your favorite president, but I told them, 'No, we should also include the ones that didn't do as good as me, just to be fair'. And for today we have this coin with my image on sale for $99.99.
Railroad life:
Securing your train several miles out of town for a road crew to get later on.
Riding back to the office to take of paperwork and log off duty.
Reaching for your thermos for one last cup before the long drive home.
Realizing you left your thermos on the locomotive.
Muttering bad words to yourself as you leave work and drive several miles in the opposite direction of your house to get your thermos back.
...sigh.
Happy-go-lucky Heretic
