I live in Charlottesville, VA, where Imperial Grand Wizard Trump’s “very fine” Nazis marched in 2017.
But I wasn’t in town during the march at UVA or the protest the next day when a Trump supporter killed Heather Heyer.
No, I was in Amherst, MA, at the annual meeting of the Emily Dickinson International Society. It was surreal— being at that gathering while conservative radicals were spewing hate and violence at home.

Sky cleared up in the wee hours.
My conductor and I saw several meteors, and at one point he asked me if we were supposed see the Northern Lights. I told him we were on the fringe of the area that may see them.
He said he thought the sky seemed different when he looked to the north, so when I had the opportunity, I checked.
It was faint, but just visible enough.
A darker sky would have likely left no doubt.

What am I missing?
The anchovies reminded me of this dish I had at The Stinking Rose in San Francisco. When I had it, there was a lot more anchovies than in the description, and it was delicious.
From their menu:
"Bagna Calda
Garlic Soaking in a hot tub. Oven roasted in extra virgin olive oil & butter with a hint of anchovy.
Wonderful for spreading on bread (included). Served in an iron skillet."
That's what I am thinking.
Imagine him having to ask for a ride or money to pay his parking fee.
Actually, he's been having his supporters pay his bills all along, so this would be no different.
